Abstract
A total of 2,091 bitewing radiographs were made by 158 dental students, and each radiograph was evaluated individually. While the frequency of errors was comparable when regular bitewing films (35.5 per cent) and the Rinn instrument (38.4 per cent) were used, the Precision instrument showed the highest frequency of errors (47.8 per cent). © 1972.
