Somewhere in the Pacific_ Serving with the Famed 2nd Marine Division is Marine Private First Class Else Woods, Jr., 19 of Shelby, N.C. Before induction into the Marine Corps he worked in a shipyard in Wilmington, N.C. He was inducted into the Corps in September 1943. His mother, Mrs. Beulah McAllister, lives in Bristol, Tenn. He has been overseas for several months.
