About This Journal
At the Cutting Edge Mission
Through the lens of African Diaspora thought and experience, At the Cutting Edge will provide a vehicle for the voices and contributions of people of African descent globally. To that end, At the Cutting Edge will:
- Provide a venue to celebrate cultural and historical distinctions and commonalities between and among people of African descent.
- Expose and address global injustices against African descent people.
- Invent and document new ways of thinking about African descent culture and its contributions to humanity.
- Create innovative techniques & theories.
- Revisit and correct longstanding misconceptions.
- Conduct and document research on under-researched phenomena regarding the lives and experiences of African descent people.
About Journal Submissions
Scholars from all disciplines are welcome to submit articles, manuscripts, artwork, and their research to At the Cutting Edge, providing their submissions are grounded in African Diaspora experience, and they uphold the mission, aims, and scope, of the journal. Reviews of books, plays, dance concerts, art, music concerts, podcasts, films, etc., are welcome.
