The Temple Star: 1916

The Temple Star out of Georgiana, Alabama was a newspaper from the church edited by Rev. P. W White. The paper's slogan "United We Stand, Divided We Fall" was a good fit for documenting church life, community news, and the ongoing pursuit of justice. Though only a few issues survive, its impact was sure to leave a mark on the 70% Black town of Georgiana.
