Howard University's two outstanding psychology students are shown here after excercises at which they received cash awards for high scholarship. They are Roberta Harlan (center), of Washington, who recieved the Francis C. Sumner Award as the outstanding undergraduate student; and Lillian Blake (second from right), of New York City, the recipient of the Willie Dodson Award which goes to the ranking graduate student. Other shown (l to r) are Dr. Max Meenes, professor and head of the department of psychology, Ogretta Humphries, president of Psi Chi. the national honorary society in psychology (Howard Chapter), and Mrs. Willie Dodson.
