An alphabetical arrangement by name incorporating letters (holographs, typescripts and photostat copies), post cards, and press releases written by and about men and women who graduated from Howard University and served in the armed forces during 1941 to 1946. A copy of a letter from Dr. James M. Nabrit dated March 20, 1945 sent to men and women in the armed forces is included at the beginning of the series.
