Abstract
This collection contains photographs, clippings, and ephemera documenting the career and relationships of Thelma Green. Much of the material depicts her time touring Europe with the Chocolate Kiddies musical review in the 1920s. With the Chocolate Kiddies, Green toured France, Switzerland, Scandinavia, and Soviet Russia just before Jazz was outlawed by the communist regime. The Thelma Green Theater Collection contains portraits of Green, publicity shots with her partner Bobbie, who together made up the Hot Chocolates, autographed pictures from friends, and scrapbooks with additional photographs, news clippings.
