Berlin, Germany, May 17, 1951: Delegates of 11 American women's organizations, members of the panel, are spending 6 weeks in the German Federal Republic in work and consultation with German women leaders and officials. Dr. Dorothy B. Ferebee, National Council of Negro Women, points at the Freedom Bell hanging in the tower of the Berlin-Schoneberg City Hall. Dr. Ferebee was a member of the committee sponsoring the bell. Mrs. Walter Rose, American Federation of Labor, is seen on the right.
