Description
Dr. Dorothy Ferebee, Delegate from the National Council of Negro Women (front row, far left) to the American Association for the United Nations 3rd annual conference on U.S. Responsibility for World Leadership, shown in plenary session addressed by Secretary of State, John Foster Dulles. The conference, attended by representatives of more than 120 national organizations, was held at the Shoreham Hotel, March 1st to the 3rd. Other sessions were addressed by Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt and Senators Ralph Flanders, Herbert Lehman, Alexander Wiley, and others.
