Description
Letter to John Wesley Cromwell, Sr. from Arthur Schomburg discussing "Black Pope" and some of the recently published books and papers from individuals such as W. W. Brown, J. E. Bruce, D. Webster, Tuskegee, B.T.W. (Booker T. Washington?), E. Long, Phyllis Wheatley, He also talks about Rev. Thompson who is "represent[ing] the new Negro of Sierra Leone." He also speaks of the Consi tuition of the US, and the change from a monarchy to a Republic, politics, and lynching laws.
