An American medium Sherman tank manned by Chinese soldiers of an Chinese-American composite reconnaissance force, moves ahead along the Ledo Road enroute to drive the Japanese from the junction with the Burma Road at Mong-Yu, Burma, ousting of the enemy forces, cleared the last roadblock on the Stilwell Road to China and marked the end of the last blockade of China. 19 March 1945
