Description
Many of these soldiers found themelves on a college campus for the first time in their lives when they were assigned to take courses under the Army Specialized Training Program. But it wasn't the last time for most of them. As veterans, many are back at Howard today. They realize that education is the only cure for our certain diseases the modern world has engendered. Photos show ASTP students as they prepared for war...which was very serious business to all concerned.
