During his time at Howard University, student Harold Hargis took photographs around Washington, D.C. He documented events around the Howard University Campus including the 1952 commencement and fraternity and sorority events. He also documented events in Washington, D.C. including the campaign for Dwight D. Eisenhower and the launch of boxer Joe Louis' Bourbon at various bars in D.C. Thanks to a donation from his daughter, the collection of photographs is now available for all to see.
