Includes materials relating to Davis's activities as director of the US Technical Cooperation Administration in Liberia, research concerning Afro-American education and employment conducted by Davis through the Phelps-Stokes Fund and the National Technical Association, and materials relating to his involvement with African-American Institute, Freemasons, Morehouse College, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and its Legal Defense and Educational Fund, National Science Foundation, Unesco, and West Virginia State College.
