Description
Lt. William R. Melton, a veteran of many combat hours in the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations, was recently reassigned to the Tuskegee Army Air Field. Beginning his aeronautic career at this station as an aviation cadet, the returned fighter pilot recieved his commmission in 1943 and was later assigned to combat duty.
