Collection Number: 250 Inclusive Dates: 1958 - 1972 Extent: 26.25 Cubic Feet Description: Youth Pride, Incorporated was founded by Carroll Harvey, Mary Treadwell and Marion Barry in 1967, and was a youth job placement program that lasted more than a decade. The Youth Pride, Inc. Records document the day-to-day business of the organization. Among the records are administrative memoranda, subject files, Board of Elections records, chronological files, financial documents, meeting files, termination reports, and the Youth Pride Voter Education Questionnaire.
