Notes: Collector of black Americana. Scrapbooks containing poems, prayers, religious anecdotes, articles, and newspaper clippings relating to Afro-Americans, with numerous obituaries. Includes information about the Bethel Literary and Historical Association of Washington, DC, and the National Union Convention held at Philadelphia in 1866. The MSRC also has photocopies and microfilm of the collection.
